Hot Springs National Park is an icon for healing and a tribute to the “American Spa” of the 20th century. We enjoyed walking by all of the nine historic bathhouses. The national park visitor center is located in the Fordyce Bathhouse. If you visit this area, we do suggest that you complete the free walking tour inside this bathhouse. We arrived at 9:00 a.m. and had the place to ourselves.
