Mount Yonah, GA – Best Hike? Most Difficult Hike?

Mount Yonah Trail is 4.5 miles and described as hard on the All Trails app.  The trail is near Cleveland, Georgia and is part of the Chattahoochee – Oconee National Forest.  Some describe it as the best hike in Georgia.  Some describe it as the most difficult hike in Georgia.  We LOVED it!

Mount Yonah is used by the US Army as a training area, a big thanks to all our military for protecting us!

We suggest hiking shoes, hiking poles, plenty of water and some snacks.  Arrive early to get a parking spot and to avoid the crowds on the trail.

Thank goodness we can run the Generark to keep the fridge cold while on the hike.

We stayed at the Towneplace Suites in Gainesville, GA, about 45 minutes from the trail and the place is awesome!  Spotless and friendly peeps.
