We are the Lanes, Trudy and Tony!
We love to travel and planned on starting Stat Travels, in 2020. We had no idea that the travel industry would be shut down due to a Pandemic. The Corona Virus ended up blessing us with new adventures!
Why the name Stat? It seemed to be a perfect fit for us. Tony is a retired Fireman and Trudy is a nurse. We love the name Stat and previously owned a gym, Stat CrossFit, which we recently sold, so we could travel more.
When raising our three sons, we traveled all over the United States. Once the boys were out of the house, we started traveling internationally with our friends. Our friends Rita and Charlie have helped us learn to travel smartly using credit cards and points, which we will share with all of you.
When we travel, we love to live as a local. We try to shop in local grocery stores and farm markets. We also workout daily and try to hit a CrossFit gym in each City.
Many folks ask us about our favorite place, we have so many memories, it is very difficult to pick. Tony would tell you his top three are Venice, the Galapagos Islands and Germany. Trudy’s top picks are: Israel, Venice and Switzerland.

North America: (Bahamas, Canada, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, United States)
South America: (Colombia, Ecuador)
We have visited most of our home Country, the United States. We have 11 more states to enjoy!
Because of the pandemic, we had to cancel 2 international trips. We ended up purchasing Electric Bikes and a Ford Transit Passenger Van. We have been visiting local, state and national parks and having an absolute blast. We have developed a love of hiking and biking.
