Our first stop in Glasgow was a walk around what is known as the People’s Palace.  This palace is set in historic Glasgow Green.  It is home to a collection of objects, photographs, prints and film that give a unique view into how folks lived, worked and played years ago.

The Glasgow Necropolis is a Victorian cemetery in Glasgow.  This ancient cemetery was built in 1831. This area is so beautiful and peaceful.

The Glasgow Cathedral was erected between 1136 and 1484.  It is now Scotland’s largest place of worship.  It is the oldest cathedral in mainland Scotland and the oldest building in Glasgow.

Glasgow’s vibrant city Centre lies north of the River Clyde.  Its heart is the George Square, a 19th-century showpiece crowned by the City Chambers.  This area is known to some of the United Kingdom’s best preserved Victorian architecture.

Possibly the BEST PIZZA EVER – Glasgow Paesano Pizza – Tony and I wonder if this is the best pizza ever!  The entire experience was amazing.  Our server Martin told us exactly what to order, how to order it and it was AWESOME!  He then talked us into dessert, which was AWESOME!
