Appalachian Trail
Today we hiked from mile 0, Springer Mountain to mile 4.3, Three Forks, so we only have 2,175.70 to go!
The Appalachian Trail (AT) is 2,180+ miles long and travels through 14 states. There are folks that set out to hike its entire length and others that just hike sections of the trail. Most start in the state of Georgia and travel north through the following states: North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
