Oh my, the entire trip was stunning. We actually drove from milepost 469, the Southern end, to milepost 0, the Northern end. There were spots that were a bit busy because of all the beautiful fall colors, but we hiked at sunrise or sunset and avoided all the crowds. We suggest using the Blue Ridge Parkway App, which is awesome to help you in plan. We also suggest excellent hiking shoes, such as our Merrell’s.
