Dragon’s Tooth Hike Virginia
Virginia’s Triple Crown includes three of the best hikes in the Blue Ridge Mountains: McAfee Knob, Tinker’s Cliff and Dragon’s Tooth. Dragon’s Tooth is a 4.8 mile hike and described as hard on All Trails. We LOVED the hike! The fall colors were stunning!
We stayed at the Residence Inn Roanoke, the night before the hike, a 20 minute drive to the trailhead. We give 5 stars to this hotel.
For this hike, we recommend good hiking shoes, hiking poles, plenty of water and snacks.
