Welcome to the state of Minnesota, the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”. The official motto is “The Star of the North”! For us, it is state 42! We loved the city of Duluth, a port city on Lake Superior. We enjoyed our visit to Canal Park, the lighthouse and Aerial Lift Bridge. We are not sure how many of you have ever visited Minnesota, but the state is beautiful, so maybe consider adding to your bucket list. While in Duluth, we stayed at the Residence Inn, which gets two thumbs up.
