Saugatuck Dunes State Park
We LOVED this place, absolutely a must do if you are in the area. A very cool place to hike in the sand dunes and you end up on a secluded strip of Lake Michigan.

It is a dog friendly park and a place you can swim, picnic and just enjoy the beauty! There were clean porta potties in the parking area. On arrival, you had to pay, an honor system of envelopes/cash. It is around $10 to $20 depending on your residency and what you want to do for the day.
