We drove further south to a small city on Kachemak Bay, Homer. A focal point is the Homer Spit, a long strip of land with shops, restaurants and beaches. Tony was so excited to see the Time Bandit crab fishing vessel that is featured on the Discovery Channel. If you visit this area, you must stop in at the Salty Dawg Saloon!
