Yes, an Island in Ohio
If you are not from Ohio, you may not realize that we have beautiful islands. We have been visiting Kelleys Island for 26 years. While raising the boys, we were boaters and spent many weekends on the Islands. Now we take the ferry over and enjoy a beautiful ride on Lake Erie. There is so much to do on Kelleys; walking, hiking, biking, renting a golf cart, eating, drinking and just hanging out with friends.
It is a great place for a couple’s date or for a family. During this trip, we stayed overnight at the Kelleys Island Venture Resort. We had Brandy Alexanders at the Pump.
Worked out on the beach.
Enjoyed a sunset while having dinner at Portside Marina.
Met up with friends on their boats.
And, on our way home, we stopped for ice cream at Tofts Creamery.
