New England States Road Trip
We started our Massachusetts adventure in the city of Boston. Our home for the night was the Bostonian Hotel downtown. We had the best pizza of the trip so far, at Regina’s. We walked the Freedom Trail.
The second day took us to Hyannis, a beautiful village in Cape Cod, the home of the Kennedy Compound and the John F. Kennedy Museum. We stayed at the Hyannis Harbor which was across the street from the ferry.
We both loved Nantucket Island! We walked around the cobblestoned streets and viewed the beautiful homes and beaches. Both of us agree that we had the best ice cream so far, at a place called the Juice Bar.
We were up early the next morning for a short drive to Falmouth, another coastal town in Cape Cod. We stayed at InnsResort, which was a very short walk to the ferry.
A ferry ride took us to Martha’s Vineyard. Martha’s Vineyard is an adorable area. If you visit, you will need to plan some type of transportation while there. You have several options, buses, scooters, bikes and rental cars. Tony loved the Chowder at the Wharf in Edgartown.
