The River Raisin National Battlefield Park is located in Monroe, MI. This park would be an awesome visit for a history buff. The park offers walking and biking trails and the visitor center has a cool diorama of the area. The Park Ranger was awesome, passionate and gave us a great understanding of the battle.
The battle cry – “Remember the Raisin”. Native American Warriors launched a surprise attack against wounded prisoners of war.
