Support local businesses! A “treat day” in Munising! We rolled into town and picked up a pizza at Wood Fired Pictured Rocks Pizza. The place was adorable and we love pizza. We then went to Barge Inn Bar and asked the very nice owner to put the Browns Game on. The Barge Inn does not serve food but they have the Toby’s Dog House Food Truck outside. Tony was very happy to get some Hot Dogs, which he said were awesome. We then had to try a Pasty from Miners Kitchen. A pasty is a portable pie that was popularized by the miners in the 1800’s. We picked up some ice cream at the local grocery and went back to hotel. THANK goodness we had a very long hike planned for the following day!
