We cannot believe the places we have visited because the pandemic forced us outside. Fort Desoto Park is the largest park in Pinellas County. There are 5 islands to explore, beautiful beaches, a dog park/beach and a fort. The bike trail is awesome. Desoto Fort was named after the Spanish Explorer, Hernando De Soto and was built to protect the Tampa Citizens. We plan to go back and take the kids, grandkids and granddogs.
